It’s Friday, April 22nd, 2016 and in this week’s show, we’ll be discussing three films that are currently playing—or soon to play—at FilmScene. Our line-up includes the historical dramedy Elvis & Nixon, which opened at FilmScene today and will continue to play this weekend and all next week. Next, we’ll discuss trippy South Korean animation The Satellite Girl and Milk Cow, which plays next Tuesday, April 26th, at 6pm as part of the global cinema series Bijou Horizons. Finally, we’ll talk about Satoshi Kon’s fantastic dreamscape Paprika, which plays tomorrow night, April 23rd, at 11pm as part of Bijou After Hours. Joining us to talk about this final film is fellow Bijou member Sarah Ulanowicz.
