Sailor Schervish (She/Her), a first year BA in Cinema and Communication Studies student at UIowa. She is from Des Moines, Iowa, where she took two years of Film and Broadcast studies in highschool, competed in many local film competitions and works at Fleur Cinema and Cafe, a local film art house. Some of her favorite movies are Almost Famous (2000), Goodfellas (1990), Reservoir Dogs (1992), The Darjeeling Limited (2007), and Full Metal Jacket (1987). She is also completely obsessed with any Italian American Mafia Film/Media. Outside of film she loves keeping up on politics, watching The Sopranos, hanging with friends, and eating cheese curds.
